- How to safely operate a pressure canner and pressure canning demo
- Secrets to old-fashioned preserving without store-bought pectin and low/no sugar options
- How to make delicious and easy ferments – you'll be making a jar!
- Dehydrating, both with and without a dehydrator
- Freeze-drying- what you need to know about this newer method
- Root cellar techniques without a root cellar
- Troubleshooting and storing different types of food
Ticket is for one adult and includes a delicious, from-scratch lunch on the farm and some take-home preserving supplies. This is a hands-on learning workshop. You'll be in the garden harvesting fresh produce and then walking through different preserving recipes and techniques.
Workshop will be held rain or shine. All ticket sales are final, no refunds.
