Every now and then our life get’s so hectic, that it feels like every moment is scheduled with something.
I love my church and church family. But there are times when my heart isn’t up to the trek into to town.
This past Sunday, we did the home school version of church. I piled both kids on my lap and read Bible stories. I asked questions and was surprised at their insightful and faith filled answers.
Then my husband and I read scriptures out loud together. We looked up footnotes and delved into the reference verses.
This method won’t replace a church family of believers or the guidance of a trained pastor, but every now and then, it’s exactly what my family needs.
I could feel the presence of God in my home as we worshipped Him.
What’s some of your favorite home school Sunday school projects? Do you and your spouse follow a study or just read scripture together?
